RARE 18th CENTURY LOUIS XV FRENCH SETTEE

Gorgeous Louis XV French settee, 18th Century. The grand curvature of the seat, along with its generous length, both make this antique truly unique and quite rare.  Seat, back, sides, and backside of settee are  upholstered.  The sturdy wooden frame is hand carved with fleurette detailing and cabriolet legs.  Off white painted finish is beautifully worn with age, revealing warm wood tones throughout the frame. Newly upholstered in an imported French herringbone linen. Double welting in a contrasting linen provides an excellent finishing touch.
