An absolutely stunning fabric piece from Paris, 1930s. The fabric was purchased from a notable market vendor in Paris whose passion and sole purpose is procuring rare and unique fabrics and textiles. The background is made of silver thread and the appliqué flowers are of delicate silver cording and sequins. This fabric, especially the materials used and the way the flower petals are raised off the surface, is unlike anything we've seen in our many years in the antique world.
