This beautifully carved wood French Duchesse Brisee (or broken duchess) chaise lounge, hails from France, 18th Century. It is divided in three parts: a low back armchair, a higher back armchair, and a center ottoman for both to use. This set is extremely versatile and can be configured in several ways, including together in a line as a chaise, or as two separate armchairs and an ottoman. All pieces have been newly upholstered in a French muslin, as a base for the buyer to upholster in their own desired fabric. (Dimension given is for 1 chair, please request all dimensions if needed).
