A guéridon is a small table supported by one or more columns, often with a circular top. The guéridon originated in France towards the middle of the 17th century. This piece was discovered in the markets of Paris, and originates from France, 19th century. It has white stone top with a beautifully worn, revealing the age and and history of the piece. The cast iron base has a painted black finish that is also gently worn, showing the layers of colors the base once was throughout the years. Truly a special antique!
