An antique wood counter that once lived in a Violin Shop in Paris 1880. Just imagine all the musicians who stood at this counter to have their beloved violins stay in tip top shape! All sides of the piece are equally beautiful: the side with drawers with worn brass pulls was used by the shopkeeper (and top drawer was specifically for housing violin strings, with slats with handwritten labels still intact), and the sides that faced the shop is beautifully carved and paneled. The contrasting darker wood inset in the top makes it particularly unique. This amazing antique would be perfect as an island in a master closet, or even a kitchen. Tres jolie!
